Content creator and celebrity makeup artist and now interior design business owner Lungile Thabethe has partnered up with Samsung on the new AirDresser.

The digital creator, who recently started her own interior design studio, cites her mother as being her inspiration for home décor and that she’s always had an interest in it as a result.

She tells TRUELOVE: “Throughout my childhood, my mother was always busy with some sort of home renovation project and the house was filled with decor magazines, so naturally, when I purchased my first property, I instantly had the opportunity to explore more of my design interests on an artistic level. This inspired and amplified my ambitions from an entrepreneurial perspective”.

On her Instagram, Lungile is candid with her followers about the process of decorating her home, taking them along on her journey to create her dream home which, she says she wants to reflect serenity and peace.

“I’ve found [myself] appreciating minimalism so much more, not only because I want my furniture to speak for itself but also because I want my home to be a reflection of serenity and peace. I want to come home to a place where my mind can rest”, she shared with her followers.

On her journey to decorating her home, she also shares that the inspiration behind the interior of her house is Parisian chic with a modern twist.

Her partnership with Samsung began in 2021 when she collaborated with the brand on the Frame TV from Samsung’s Lifestyle TV range. She described it as fitting perfectly into her home’s gallery wall because it looked exactly like an art frame.

The content creator has recently partnered with the brand again to showcase the AirDresser, Samsung’s latest home innovation that uses steam to remove dust, germs and refreshes clothes.

Lungile recently founded Glaze Home Décor, an interior design studio with the aim of elevating her customers’ home experience. Being a business owner herself, she describes her relationship with the brand as being centred and continuing on a shared business ethos, as well as innovative products that embrace one’s personal tastes and needs, similarly to Glaze.

On Samsung’s Bespoke AirDresser, Lungile says: “I, like many other people, find it inconvenient to wash clothes every day, after each wear. This is one of the immediate benefits of owning the AirDresser, which allows me to save time, which I don’t usually have. It’s also a cost-saver, as I don’t have to frequently visit the dry cleaners. So, not only does the appliance have a uniquely stylish design but it’s also functional.”

The celebrity makeup artist also teased the possibility of collaborating with the brand on more innovative appliances to personalise her home.
