Please tell us about yourself, and why you joined the TNBT?

My name is Kutlwano Motla, also known as “The Boujee Traveller”. I am an advocate by profession, a member of the Johannesburg Bar and a travel content creator from Hamanskraal, in the North West.

As an avid traveller, I have been to over 21 countries around the world and have explored all nine provinces in South Africa. My travel content is geared to motivate my people to not only travel but to travel in style and comfort. Normalising luxury in the black community is my mantra. Our dreams are limitless, and we all deserve some level of “boujeeness.”

What’s your favourite social media outlet? Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram?

Instagram. I get too busy for any other social media platform. I recently re-joined the twitter world; I am slowly getting back into it.

My aim in joining the show is to encourage as many of my people as I can, to not only become tourists in their own country but to explore the world.

In a caption, describe yourself.

An avid traveller that does not compromise on comfort.

What do you think viewers will like about your brand, and what do you think is that special “je ne sais quois” you’ll be bringing to the show?

The viewers will definitely enjoy my personality and more so my travels. My aim in joining the show is to encourage as many of my people as I can to not only become tourists in their own country but to explore the world. There is so much education in broadening your horizon. I can only hope that my content is relatable and that when the viewers see me, they see that anything is possible. The world of travel is viewed as being accessible to a certain type of race or class, but we can all do it and we should all be open to exploring the world. I hope that the viewers see a bit of themselves in me and are inspired to explore.

Who’s your favourite person on social media right now?

All the black African travel content creators. They are changing the face of travel and I am truly inspired!

Which brand or person do you think the world is sleeping on and how do you see them eventually getting big?

Would it be silly to say me! And I see myself becoming an even bigger brand, by being consistent, informative and sharing some really amazing, visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing content!
