About Me:

Business owner and passionate South African citizen who hopes to see South Africa grow to her full potential.

I am curious about what has prompted you to post not one, but two opinion pieces about the EFF and it’s latest stance on the Indian population of SA, only a matter of hours apart.

What has happened as a result of this whole debacle is this; two men (Naas Botha and Nick Mallet) now have a stigma hanging over their heads.

Perhaps there should be consequences for public figures and organisations who jump the gun, to gain popularity and political favour. It might serve as a lesson to those who would otherwise use situations like this, for their own selfish agendas.

If the DA hopes to make the gains it has promised at the next general elections, the time to get it's house in order is now. The petty squabbling and in-house fighting needs to be stopped.

Do we need the Peter Duttons of the world to extend a toxic hand? No. What we need is for the government to face the inconvenient truth, that it has allowed this to happen and expects the country to take the murder rate in its stride.

Let's not forget that Ramaphosa himself, sat idly by while the nation was being sent down a one way path of destruction under his predecessor Jacob Zuma.

I struggle to sympathise with some of the EFF's legitimate grievances when the actions of its members infringe on the rights of others and destruction is the order of the day.

Contrary to the belief of some, our dismal form has nothing to do with the quota system, but has everything to do with our squad selection and game plan (or lack thereof).

Like any good poker player, Zuma plays his cards close to his chest and has proven time and time again that he always has an ace up his sleeve.

The immediate association with the name “Mugabe”, automatically elicits thoughts of one Robert Gabriel Mugabe, who is (in)famous for his dictatorial rule over our neighbouring country Zimbabwe.

Multichoice, there is so much more at stake here than closing down ANN7, South Africa’s future may very well depend on it.
