This week on POLOTIKI, we take a look at why corruption-accused company Bosasa and Andile Ramaphosa have been dominating headlines.

Meanwhile, his father, President Cyril Ramaphosa, snubbed journalists who wanted comment on the Bosasa matter at an event in Tembisa.

Kyle Cowan, News24 investigative journalist, who sat down with Andile Ramaphosa earlier this week, unpacks his ties to Bosasa and looks at the possible repercussions this business deal could have on his father.

And, believe it or not, there are only five weeks left before South Africa goes to the polls.

Political parties - including Hlaudi Motsoeneng's African Content Movement have slowly been campaigning for those all-important votes.

Motsoeneng extolled his virtues in a recent video and told South Africans just what he would do for them if (And let's be honest, it's a big IF) his party wins the May 8 national elections.

Eskom, Julius Malema, hate speech, and Angelo Agrizzi also made headlines this week.

DA leader Mmusi Maimane called for Parliament to reconvene urgently to deal with the crisis at Eskom. Maimane announced that he had written to National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete asking for Parliament to remain in session.

The president also spoke of the government's concerns about growing racial tension in the country.

The SA Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) released its findings on the investigation into complaints of hate speech against Malema. His utterances did not constitute hate speech.
