- It looks like Steve Jobs’ youngest daughter, Eve jobs, has decided to try her hand at modelling.
- The 22-year-old recently modelled for beauty brand Glossier’s new holiday collection.
- The Stanford-student recently shared the self-shot photos on her Instagram.
Her famous dad was a tech maverick, but Eve will have to carve her own path, make a name for herself and secure the bag on her own.
And that's just what she is doing. Eve has just made her modelling debut for Glossier’s holiday collection.
In one of the shots, Eve poses in a bubble bath, sipping on what looks like champagne. In another, she is applying a Glossier lip gloss and wearing eye masks. Both photos seem to reflect the brand’s Instagrammable, millennial aesthetic.
Not everyone was supportive of the collaboration, with one Instagram user commenting on Glossier’s post, “Disappointed with this decision. Not sure what the daughter of Steve Jobs and the average Glossier user have in common. Glossier has always branded itself as an inclusive brand. This ain’t it!”
However, Glossier and Eve’s photos still gained a combined 33 000 likes.
When she is not studying, or in this case, posing for the camera, Eve is riding her horse. In fact, she is an accomplished equestrian, according to Business Insider.
The 22-year-old won’t be inheriting her late-father’s billions, as reported by the Business Standard.
This is because the family apparently does not believe in the “accumulation of wealth,” Eve’s mom, Laurene Powell-Jobs, told The Sun.
Steve Jobs died in 2011, at age 56, after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed his wealth on to his wife, Laurene.
The Jobs family is currently placed 42nd on the list of the world’s wealthiest, with a net worth of $21.5 billion (R332 trillion), according to the Business Standard.
However, while Laurene is currently the 35th richest person in the world, her children will have to make their own money, as reported by The Sun.
