The 38-year-old tennis professional has a three-year-old daughter, Alexis Olympia, with husband, Alexis Ohanian, and the Reddit co-founder has said his wife is a pro when it comes to “shutting off” her work brain and focusing on their family.

“I had a warped view of the path to excellence and the path to greatness being a direct result of just pure work. That is obviously core to it, but one thing that I’m still working on is balancing that with time off, time away, time to reset and recharge. [This is] something Serena is really good at is shutting it off and focusing on family time and personal time,” Alexis told ‘CBS This Morning’.

Meanwhile, Serena recently said her marriage is “not bliss” without work. “Marriage is not bliss. But it can be if you work at it,” she shared speaking in a video for dating app, Bumble. The sports star also revealed her number one “dealbreaker” in a relationship is a lack of loyalty and shared some key advice for dealing with heartbreak.

“Heartbreak is a part of life, whether it be a loved one, a boyfriend, or an animal. But time heals all wounds,” she added.

Although Alexis believes his wife has mastered life as a working mother, Serena previously said she finds it challenging.

"I am often exhausted, stressed, and then I go play a professional tennis match. We keep going. I am so proud and inspired by the women who do it day in and day out. I’m proud to be this baby’s mama @olympiaohanian,” she said on Instagram.

And the beauty also said she finds it “really kind of painful” being away from her baby daughter, adding, “I actually prefer playing in the day because I get to go home and see my baby. I’ve been missing her the last few nights when I play. In the beginning, she would really be upset when I left. And now she’s a little bit better. I think I’m a little more upset. But at the same time, she definitely still takes it a little hard. She’s still super young.”
