Abigail tells Chad his super romantic sweeping gesture is not what she wants. Abigail and Maggie talk about Abigail’s starting a new life for herself. Brady and Nicole feel as if their troubles are behind them as they enjoy a nice, romantic day together. Claire and Ciara make peace.

Nicole and Brady’s domestic bliss survives another interruption as they finally become intimate. Abigail interviews for the job at the police station with Raines. After meeting with Hope about Deimos, Paul asks Sonny to move in with him.  Lani and JJ are assigned a case involving a pimp named Snake.

Abigail takes Thomas out of the DiMera mansion. Steve and Kayla share a nice moment while Joey is shocked to learn Jade will be moving in with Tripp. JJ rushes to Lani, who is recovering from being drugged by Snake. Lucas and Anne meet up, and talk about Adrienne.

Nicole and Brady’s relationship deepens. When they become close a masked intruder enters their house. Lani is determined to carry out her investigation, but Abe fights her on it. Roman experiences an allergic reaction… and it’s up to Kayla and Tripp to save him.

Brady and Nicole find bliss in Canada, but their new way of life is cut short by a bullet and an unwanted trespasser. Steve and Kayla try to make inroads with Tripp. Tripp opens up to Jade and she defends Steve, but makes a slip up. It’s clear that Gabi’s is struggling with her feelings for Chad.
