Hope supports Rafe as Dario blasts his brother, but Gabi is understanding. Dario vows to go after Deimos. Tripp returns to the loft to a worried Steve and reveals that he has been watching the DVDs that Ava made for him. Joey is about to tell Tripp the truth.

Nicole’s anxiety about Scooter intrudes on her afternoon with Brady. As soon as Brady goes, Scooter shows up on their doorstep, ready to follow through with his plan. Steve and Kayla discuss how Tripp can never learn the truth about his mother’s death while Jade interrupts Joey before he can confess. 

Marlena and Eric go out for coffee. Marlena seeks out Victor and rakes him over the coals for judging Eric. Meanwhile, Eric has a dream that Nicole is in trouble.

JJ fills Chad and Abigail in on Eduardo. The friends assemble and Abigail welcomes everyone and thanks them for stopping by on the night before the vow renewal. Lani and Eli make amends while Paul tells Sonny that he loves him. Theo plans a special night for Claire and the two young lovers take the next step.

Abigail and Chad are looking forward to their vow renewal today.Kate bumps into Gabi, and urges her to go after Chad while she still can. Hope comforts Rafe, who’s still very upset about Eduardo while Dario meets with Myron, who has successfully pulled off their first big hack. Nicole fantasizes taking down Scooter. As Abigail expresses her doubts to Andre about Chad's loving her more than Gabi, Kate presses Gabi to make a last-ditch effort to stop Chad from renewing his commitment to his wife. Chad pledges himself to Abigail, but after a huge realization… Abigail stops the ceremony.
