Roman suspects Mayekiso can't be trusted and sets out to prove his theory. Phindile collapses underground. Gatanga gloats to the guys about the awesome night he had with Morongwa. Mayekiso is still spearheading Lincoln's rescue mission, despite Claudette and Roman's reservations. Sechaba tries to get Phindi to rest and recover but is met with resistance.

The self-appointed king and queen of the Zamdela empire are caught off-guard. Mayekiso pulls a fast one while Morongwa's life goes up in flames. Sechaba and Phindile drive off into the sunset. Cebisa's life crumbles in front of her eyes. A distraught Morongwa and Veronica watch as their lives go up in flames. Cebisa hopes to get back into Nina's good books.

An old face is back to see the Lategans. The community confronts Kgothalo. Cebisa believes Nina gave her a raw deal. The Lategans are split in opinion over Marius.
