Meryl Streep’s Tribeca home is the perfect mix of laid back style and a more modern, posh finish and it’s listed for a whopping $24.6 million (over R360 million).

Meryl is reportedly moving to a mid-century home in California, just north of Los Angeles.

The penthouse feels very much like something Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada would love to live in.

Sleek lines and an airy space are accented with a few choice antique pieces, wooden armoires or chairs with a certain pretty patina, that bring the home to life. 

The 372 square metre penthouse has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, with a wraparound terrace overlooking the Hudson River. The art on the walls is made up of modern-looking works for her modern home's aesthetic, which matches the overall design perfectly.

You would often expect celeb homes to be for lavish parties with wide open spaces, but Meryl’s home has a different style. It's the kind of space that suits a casual dinner party and is a home that looks like you could actually feels at home in.
