With summer around corner, we're all about to go out more and wear less. This may entail a bit of a preparation in the form of either shaving, waxing or fresh pedicures.
But spring and summer also come with their own fair share of gremlins - heat rash, boob sweat, slightly sweaty napes due to our wigs, and thigh chafing.
These kinds of seasonal grievances can at times discourage some people from wearing the things they really want to wear or cause them to cover up despite the sweltering heat.
You'll be glad to know that the poke of one of the thorns in our sides mentioned above can be remedied with a new addition to the hosiery family. Introducing the Bandelettes Anti-Chafing Thigh Bands available to shop on Amazon- a nifty pair of nylon thigh bands created to prevent chafing from your thighs rubbing against each other all day.
Adding another elastic/spandex/silicone item to your undergarment lineup may sound suffocating, but according their Amazon description, these bands give you "peace of mind as you enjoy your active day."
It appears that women across the world have taken their word for it, as InStyle reports that the anti-chafing thigh bandelettes are selling out every five minutes online, "making them the number one best-sellers in Amazon’s hosiery category." Aside from their practicality and solutions-based appeal to consumers, another reason this hosiery may be flying off the shelves is their aesthetic appeal - a lace design which resembles lingerie, "making [buyers] feel 'sexy' and 'pretty' — like they’re actually wearing an accessory as opposed to 'granny panties'."

A satisfied and now chafe-free shopper reviewed them, sharing the following about her experience with them;
“When I first pulled them out, I worried about the fit. If you measure like they ask you to, you really have nothing to worry about. These are NOT tight, nor do they feel snug. They fit comfortably and stay up nicely. I tend to buy loose clothing (especially pants) and I have no complaints on how these fit. You can feel that they work as soon as you try them on. Where skin used to grip, it now just glides easily past. The lace is not scratchy and holds it's pattern well when put on.”
An InStyle writer also declared them "one of her “go-to undergarments” after trying them out."
There are more women who evidently share the same sentiments and are even happy to show their bandelettes off on Instagram.
