Lana Del Rey uses lemon juice to lighten her hair while in quarantine

The Video Games singer is known for her eclectic sense of style and long auburn locks, however, Lana's natural hair colour is actually a blonde shade.

In a new Instagram post she revealed she was embracing her roots while staying at home amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Lemon juice is purportedly a natural that may whiten light blonde or light brown hair but the technique is unlikely to work on brunettes.

However, in spite of the risks, Lana appears to be happy with her new colour. Her post received 1.5 million likes and counting, as well as thousands of comments from her followers.
