Using toothbrush bristles as nail extensions is an inexpensive, DIY way to get the look of acrylic nails.

The technique utilizes gel polish to bring structure and shine to the nylon bristles.

It can be achieved by cutting the bristles from a standard toothbrush using a pair of scissors or tweezers.

Using builders' gel, align the bristles straight on the tip of the nail.Use several coats of gel with 30-60 m second cures in between.

Afterward, the nail can be filled and shaped into the desired round, square, coffin, or oval shape.

Finish the look with a topcoat and adorn with rhinestones, glitter, or more.
