Believe it or not but Disney has been in the business of wedding planning and hosting since 1991, and more than 50 000 couples tie the knot there per year.

When I saw pictures of former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and fiancé Tim Tebow celebrating their engagement at Disneyland, I wondered what it would feel like to get married in Cinderella’s castle.

Most importantly, how many Disney dollars do you need to pull it off?

According to wedding planner Zinhle Maseko, you can expect to pay between R70 000 to R80 000 on average for a wedding with around 80 – 100 guests in South Africa.

Let's see how much more you could pay to be a Disney princess for your big day.
