A woman from the UK tells us how #KFCWedding touched hearts all over the world - 'It was in our newspapers, on TV, everywhere'

Hector's move won him the hearts of thousands across the country and offered the couple an opportunity to have the wedding of their dreams after pledges from individuals and companies started pouring in.

Just a week ago, the couple said their 'I dos' in a lavish royal-themed affair at the Thaba Eco Hotel in the South of Joburg. This is all thanks to many of those who had offered to assist in creating a magical wedding for the couple making good on their promises.

While South Africans celebrated with the couple, many of us were oblivious to the fact that this wedding was no longer just a South African love story; it had made international headlines and touched hearts across the globe.

Following the success of the wedding, W24 received a massive number of well-wishes from our readers to the couple - many messages came from beyond South African borders.

Among the well-wishers was Hannah Luckman and her family, who all live in England, United Kingdom (UK). Hannah shared how widely Nonhlanhla and Hector's wedding was publicised in the UK.

"We, in England, wish you well. This beautiful news captured hearts across the world. This news was in our newspaper, on television, everywhere," Hannah wrote, adding that she and her family wish the couple all the best for the future.
