Rumour has it that Gen-Z is the generation that is just getting it right from every angle - their politics are good, they're dominating social media, and fashion is their playground.
So it's only fair that we give them credit whenever it's due.
And today, we're giving a shout-out to their style efforts at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (KCA) that took place at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
These annual awards are usually an epic event focused on entertainment and the (fun)damentals of fashion for both the child/teen stars in attendance and those watching at home. But most importantly for us, the orange carpet is where future Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and Met Gala red carpet stunners are made.
Celebrities such as Zendaya, Yara Shahidi, Amandla Stenberg and Selena Gomez have all shone on the KCA red carpet before and today, they wow audiences at major awards ceremonies in Dior, Chanel, and Giambattista Valli.
It's only a matter of time before we see the teens in looks we loved at #KCA2019 do the same in the near future.
Here are our favourite fun factor looks:
Not a teen, but she invented sartorial quirkiness so the kids could follow in her footsteps.

Fun factor: The juxtaposition of feathers and sequins on this Rami Kadi dress.
Fun factor: The whole getup.
Fun factor: "This is not a Moschino toy"

Ciara Riley Wilson (lil c)
