Laduma Ngxokolo imagined a MAXHOSA galaxy for the Spring/Summer '21 show at New York Fashion Week

Luxury African fashion label, MAXHOSA Africa by Laduma Ngxokolo, is no stranger to the international runway, the pages of the publication world's most recognised fashion arbiter - Vogue, or the wardrobes of many a celebrated star both locally and internationally. 

In 2019, the Maxhosa Africa label made it onto the sixth round of New York Bloomingdale's rotating pop-up named The Style Kingdom, in celebration of the live-action remake of The Lion King. It was curated by actress Florence Kasumba. This year, the Port Elizabeth-born luxury label was named by British Vogue as one of the seven inspiring African brands to "know- and wear now!" And in 2020, a new Maxhosa Africa store opened at the V&A Waterfront's luxury wing in Cape Town.

His is a story and upward trajectory most inspiring indeed - more specifically, a testimony to the Xhosa worship song and Revelations 15:3 verse; "Mikhulu ingumangaliso imisebenzi kaThixo".
