Cotton On is the middle ground between H&M and Mr. Price. They have good quality, on-trend pieces, so of course I had to go there to find the basis for this outfit.
I chose this black and white, picnic blanket-esque, off-the-shoulder dress for R400, which ties in the middle to accentuate your figure. Just R400, guys!
Now, how to style it three different ways:
9am: Coffee with the girls at Molten Toffee
I say “coffee with the girls”, but it’s more like “green tea with my best friend Pollen”.
For an early breakfast with a friend, I’d wear these grey sneakers from Mr. Price for R79.99 and this grey beret from Cotton On for R249. Yaaaas!
And the beret can cover up my bed-head. A win-win!
11am: Fashion blogger brunch
This outfit screams “I run a fashion blog and was invited to sit frow at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week”. (Unfortunately, only one of those things are true, but with this outfit, no one has to know.)
I chose these yellow sling-back flats from H&M for R249, because look at them.
Yellow is the new kid on the block, which is why I also chose these sunnies from YDE for R220.
Girl about town
If you know me, I’m notorious for inviting you out for “just one drink” which starts with a glass of red wine at Yours Truly, and ends in tequila shots at The Waiting Room. Fortunately, this outfit caters to both a drink at the bar and shots on the dancefloor.
Mules look like high heels but still feel like flats, and these ones from Cotton On for R449 come with a leopard platform to make a statement.
All in all, you’ve got an outfit for every occasion, and you can mix and match as you please to keep things fresh and fabulous.
