5 shockingly inappropriate ads

There comes a time in the timeline of most brands when a not so clearly thought-through ad emerges. These ads are our top picks for some of the most not-so-wise ads of the twenty first century. Tisk tisk to all these brands.

This D&G ad is super rapey. I don't know how nobody spoke up during the photoshoot of this rape reenactment. This ad would have Betty Friedan spinning in her grave.

An ad is supposed to make people want to buy your product not flip the page in disgust. This one went a bit too far.

This commercial was created by a bunch of film students from Film Academy in Ludwigsburg Germany who thought it would be a good idea to make a pseud ad involving a Benz killing a young Adolf Hitler in Austria before WWII as an attempt to prevent the problem of Nazi Germany. Mercedes-Benz's only response was saying that it was "inappropriate".

Patriarchy comes in all shapes even the shape of a little teddy bear. This ad itself may not be inappropriate, but the product is.

Smart, but a tiny bit too provocative when the little kiddies are still up.
