How Billie Eilish broke an Instagram record with one photo that got over 20 million likes

Billie Eilish recently debuted her new platinum blonde hairdo.

The megastar took to Instagram to post a selfie that showed off her new hair colour, which she was seemingly hiding under the wig at the Grammys over the past weekend.

She captioned the selfie 'Pinch Me'. According to her hairstylist, Lissa Renn ,it took six weeks to get the black colour out of her hair.

The hitmaker's blonde hair reveal has become one of the most liked on Instagram. She surprised her fans with her new look, and currently, almost 21 million users have pressed the like button on the snap, placing it in the top ten most-liked Instagram posts in the world.

According to the BBC, the ‘No Time to Die’ hitmaker gathered one million likes in just 6 minutes. Breaking a record set by Selena Gomez and her 26th birthday post in 2018.
