With the recent fight against racism across the globe, many celebrities have voiced their concerns about bringing children into a world where they’re likely to be killed because of their skin colour.
One of these celebrities is Tiffany Haddish who said she would "hate to give birth" to "someone that looks like her" as she would fear they could be "hunted or killed" one day because of the colour of their skin.
Joining the list is Cardi B, who recently spoke to Elle Magazine for the September issue, about fears she has over her family being targeted because of their skin colour.
"This prejudice is dangerous. It could be the start of a civil war. It makes people feel uncomfortable around different people. Nobody wants to feel targeted. Nobody wants animosity. Everybody just wants the best for themselves, their future, and their kids' future," she says.
"I don't want to have to tell my kid, 'You have to be careful going to the store. Don't wear a hoodie. Please don't get stopped.' We don't want that. And I don't want to feel a certain type of animosity for a different race, because I feel like they get it easier than us. Nobody wants to feel like that. Why can't we just work with each other?"
