Gwyneth Paltrow considers herself a newlywed in the bedroom.

The Iron Man actress says she's having the "best sex" because she's a "newlywed," even though she has been married for years now.

The 49-year-old star got married to television executive producer and director Brad Falchuk three years ago.

In an interview on Red Table Talk about her new Netflix project, Sex, Love and Goop, she admits that the novelty of being together has still not worn off and things are particularly exciting in the bedroom.

"I really do believe that you can't talk about a woman's wellness without talking about her sexual wellness. That is an important pillar in wellness because so many of us, in our lives we have experienced a disconnection from ourselves because of trauma, shaming and our partners," she says in the interview.

The mother of two, Apple, 17, and Moses, 15, says there wasn't a lot of sex talk when she was a girl. She says it is still weird to talk about it with her mother.

"I don't think children want to talk to their parents about sex; I don't know, do they? I just let it known that if she wants to talk, I am always there," she adds.

When it comes to sex advice to her children, she says, "I will always encourage my children to listen to themselves, trust their instincts and listen to if something, feels right, you know, act from that place."
