Gwyneth Paltrow believes her metabolism slowed down due to coronavirus

Just like many people can relate, Gwyneth Paltrow gained weight during the pandemic.

She has since lost eleven pounds (almost 5kg) as part of her functional medicine practitioner, Dr. Will Cole's intuitive fasting plan.

The actress says she was consuming a lot of alcohol and pasta after she was struck with Covid-19. And she also believes the virus is partly to blame for slowing down her metabolism.

Speaking to Dr. Will Cole on his podcast 'The Art of Being Well', she revealed that she's noticed that her metabolism has slowed down over the past couple of years. She knows that it's due perimenopause, but thinks some it is because she got Covid.
