Jada Pinkett Smith wants to help save the planet with her new sustainable personal care brand 'Hey Humans'.

The actress is the creative director and co-founder of the 99% plastic free-range and was inspired to create her products after being home during the Covid-19 pandemic with her husband Will Smith and children Jaden and Willow.

On her Instagram account, Jada shared, "As a lot of you may already know ... self care is a major passion of mine. Well today, I’m introducing you to a brand I’m Co-founder of called @heyhumansofficial. We produce naturally derived personal care products packaged in aluminum and paper which are both recyclable materials that help keep our oceans and landfills more healthy (sic)."

Jada shared that her kids, who have educated her around the environment and the necessity to shift our habits in the way we consume, are the inspiration behind the new brand.

The first 'Hey Humans' naturally derived products to be launched are all available for under $6 (R88.04) and include body wash, body lotion, natural deodorant, and toothpaste.

The packaging is made from recyclable materials, including aluminium and paper.
