The Little Mix singer’s emerald-and-diamond ring went missing from her bedroom last month when she and her fiancé, Andre Gray, moved house. In a twist of fate, the couple was recently tracked down by a pawnbroker, who had bought the bespoke ring before realising it belonged to the ‘Black Magic’ singer after reading a report about the theft.

The pair identified the ring and paid to take it away from the shop, where they had been told the item had changed hands a staggering seven times before reaching the trader.

“It’s amazing, really, but they actually managed to get the ring back. It had gone through seven different pawn shops before the final one realised what it was and called Andre. He went around, and sure enough, it was her ring, so he bought it back. It was never about the money for them; it was all about the sentimental value,” a friend of the couple told The Sun newspaper.

“The main thing is Leigh-Anne has her ring back. Nothing could replace that bit of her fairytale.”

Police are still investigating the theft but have yet to identify any suspects. However, sources close to Leigh-Anne insisted the couple are “one hundred per cent certain” the ring was taken by an intruder.

The star who is currently expecting her first child with her fiancé Andre Gray, was left devastated after thieves allegedly broke into her £4.5 million (about R88 million) Surrey mansion and robbed her pricey emerald and diamond-encrusted gold band.

“Leigh-Anne is distraught. It was her engagement ring that was stolen, which, obviously, had huge sentimental value. She accidentally left it out, and when she came back, it was gone. It’s hugely upsetting anyone can behave in this manner. Leigh-Anne and Andre are doing all they can to get to the bottom of it and get their ring back. It’s not about the money - it’s the principle,” a close friend of Leigh-Anne’s said.

It is not currently clear if the thief was known to the ‘Confetti’ hitmaker or an opportunist intruder. The sad news comes just a few weeks after Leigh-Anne revealed she is expecting a baby with Andre. “We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long, and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true... we can’t wait to meet you,” she posted on social media earlier this month.

The 29-year-old star – whose bandmate, Perrie Edwards, is also pregnant with her first child – also recently praised her footballer partner as her “backbone” and admitted she finds his attitude towards race “inspiring”.

She said, “Andre is like my backbone. If I didn’t have someone like that through this experience, I don’t know what I would have done. We’ve always had amazing talks about experiencing racism from when we’ve met. I love how pro-Black he is. It’s inspiring for me.”
