QUIZ: How addicted to the internet are you?

Imagine what your weekend would look like if you decided to take on the challenge of not going online at all?

This is the dare that was posed in a recent article I read on The Cut, which suggests that switching off for a day or two could really be good for us and to be perfectly honest, it’s definitely something I would like to push myself to do.

I mean, can you imagine not reading anxiety-inducing bad news online, and not being plagued with Instagram envy?

While being online connects us to so many things at once, the truth is that being bombarded with social media all the time is exhausting. And not always healthy.

And yet we’re inexorably drawn to being online because we can’t get rid of our FOMO.

But does the constant need for information and staying connected signify that we’re addicted to the internet? Do you feel like you’ve lost a limb if you don’t have your phone with you?

I confess that I do. I mean the mere thought of me not having my phone charger with me when my battery is about to die is enough to send me into a tailspin. So I imagine that many others must feel  the same way.

So would you be able to switch off? It’s time for you to take our quiz and find out:
