Here’s what R50 million will buy you in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban

I love looking at expensive houses and I love sharing them with you when I do.

There’s just something about looking at really fancy mansions and getting a peak at how seriously rich people live that satisfies something in me.

So I decided to take a look at what a R50 million mansion would look like in different cities across South Africa. I searched in each province and then in most major cities and these were the three that reached the R50 million mark.

Have a look:

7 bedroom in Bryanston

The aerial view of this place alone made me gasp in surprise. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool, a tennis court, a cottage, a summer house, a guest flatlet and an immaculately landscaped garden.

And if that doesn’t convince you that this place is amazing, then lemme tell you some more. There’s a grand entrance hall with a spiral staircase that leads to a study, a lounge with elegant French doors, a beautiful dining room and a spacious modern kitchen which opens into a courtyard that has a koi pond!

As if that's not enough, there’s also a wine cellar and the master bedroom even has a private lounge and dressing room.
