"Let's be honest, when it comes to sex and relationships, there are multiple views as to what is acceptable; how many times a week we should be doing it. And how many partners we have had in the past and whether we should disclose this or keep our skeletons in the closet," says psychologist Paula Quinsee.

Often sex within a relationship is associated with a mutual connection that allows partners to explore intimacy on an emotional level. On the other hand, a casual arrangement can often be sporadic with no strings attached.
