  • Wedding finance experts at money.co.uk did some research to find out which locations around the globe were most popular for weddings.
  • The team gathered data from TripAdvisor and Instagram to put together their list.

If you're yearning for a destination wedding but you're not sure where you'd like to go, perhaps this list could help point you in the right direction.

Wedding finance experts at money.co.uk investigated which locations around the world seemed to be the most popular with people online.

The team gathered their data from reviews on TripAdvisor, which mentioned "weddings" the most in cities across the globe, partnering that up with the number of hashtags each venue had on Instagram to reveal which spots were the most popular.

Okay, we'll admit, it's not the most scientific of methods, but since so many people share their opinions and thoughts online, it's still worth a look.

Here's what they came up with for their top ten list.
