5 hair trends to try this spring/summer

Paris Fashion Week, THE fashion week of all fashion weeks, recently came to a sad close. Balmain, Louis Vuitton and Chanel all put a perfectly manicured foot forward, as always.

Of course, it gave us some fabulous new fashion, make-up and hair ideas to try this coming summer season.

From slicked-back hair to Goth-inspired tresses: there's something for everyone.

Here are 5 super easy-to-achieve hair looks we are trying this party season:

1. Hair clips

This is an oldie, but a goodie.

Thank you Chanel for this beauty. Find an oversized clip (that makes a statement by itself) and pin that pony.

Then add a hat for good measure...

2. Slicked-back ponies

Balmain showed us sky-high, slick-as-a-tobacco-lobbyist-tongue hair on the runway.

3. Goth ponies

Make 2 low ponies, add a touch of sad and some burgundy lipstick. Nailed!

4. Put a bow on it

Flower crowns are out, bows are in. Now for fear of resembling Little Bo Peep in any shape or form, make sure you go for smaller, rather than larger bows.

5. Crop it

Go androgynous in what we call "the fashionable bowl cut".
