Since it first hit screens in 2019, HBO show Euphoria has encouraged fans to take more fashion and makeup risks, with characters who don't hold back when it comes to their over-the-top style.

One of the latest trends adopted from the show is rhinestone makeup, which is pretty self-explanatory - using rhinestones to take your make-up to the next level.

While this may seem a daunting step for some, others have embraced the trend, and rhinestone makeup is beginning to pop up everywhere, from social media to red carpets.

If you're itching to try this out, allow us to provide you with some inspo.

Start small

First time placing gems on your eyes? Start small, just a few stones to accentuate your look.

Play with colour

If you're feeling a bit bolder, colour is the way to go. Start off with a bright eyeshadow base, then layer a few colourful stones to match.

Go big

Why stick to just the eye area? Play with gems in your brows, above the brow or below the eye. Just make sure your placement is still flattering and complimentary to your makeup look.

Try intricate patterns

If you've already nailed the bedazzled eye look, then maybe it's time to start experimenting with more intricate designs and turning your make-up into art.
