So, if you're not a makeup aficionado with the know-how, time or interest in contouring, foundation and all the rest, then it's time to think of makeup purely as a pretty face accessory. 

Here are four ways to up your facebeat, without having to get up an hour before work to do your makeup:

A former beauty director once told me that she always adds a touch of gold, either to the corner of her eyes or just underneath to wake her eyes up. This trick looks phenomenal, I kid you not. 

I also recently spotted vintage-loving babe Sarah doing the same and it really made her blue eyes light up even more.
