This permanent makeup procedure promises to hide all unwanted body scars

This scar-camouflage tattoo service is offered by Elite Permanent Makeup in Los Angeles. 

A colour test is performed to ensure the tattoo dye will heal the same colour as the surrounding skin. Using a permanent-makeup machine and needle, the mixed dye is implanted into the skin.

The procedure typically lasts one to two hours, depending on the size of the scar. Once the skin heals, the scar vanishes. 

The tattoo will fade over time so touch-ups are recommended after a few years.
