The Duchess of Sussex is the latest celebrity who not only shares their makeup, skincare and hair routines but also sell their favourite products directly to their followers.
It makes sense because, according to a recent study, there have been 88 million articles written about Meghan Markle's beauty routines since she started dating Prince Harry. This makes her one of the most covered celebrities in the world when it comes to appearance.
This is also an especially good time to launch a beauty line as the pandemic has seen a huge rise in the demand for self-care and home beauty products.
The rumours began swirling when it was revealed that Meghan and her husband have met several times this year with a founder of marketing firm, Guthy-Renker. Some may never have heard of them but they are the powerhouse behind many celebrity cosmetic brands like those of Cindy Crawford and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
While we're sure Prince Harry has an elaborate grooming routine of his own, it seems likely that the meetings were about Meghan planning to be the face of a new company. As to what that company might be and what specific products it might feature, fans will just have to wait and see.
