A Ukrainian soldier proposed to his girlfriend via a recorded video he later sent to her. The soldier got on one knee in one of the dangerous warzones in Ukraine.
"I know I can rely on you in difficult times, and I love you very much. I don't have a wedding ring for you right now, but there is a ring on this grenade. I would love you to be my wife. Please marry me," he says in the video.

Anastasia, who also fled her hometown, struggles with getting in contact with her boyfriend, and it is painful to bear.
But when she saw this video on her mobile phone, and it gave her something to smile about.
"I wanted to say 'yes' instantly. I wanted to text or call, but I could not get through. Then he finally called back, and I was like, 'how can I refuse you, especially with a grenade in your hand?'" the bride-to-be says.

He carries a photo of them at the frontline, but Anastasia goes days without hearing from him.
"There are moments when I can't take it anymore and start crying. I try to make sure that no one sees me. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me. All I know is if something happens to him, oh God!" Anastasia exclaims.
