The 2022 Billboard Music Awards took place on Sunday, 15 May, in Las Vegas.

The popular award ceremony saw the likes of Doja Cat, Chloe Bailey, and Megan Thee Stallion strut their stuff on the red carpet.

Daring cutouts and 90s-inspired two-piece outfits seemed to be the popular choice on the night.

While Dove Cameron sported a dramatic, deep cutout on the front of her red dress, Teyana Taylor gave us total 90s vibes with a super cropped tank top, along with dramatic leather pants and, yes, a whale tale (thong sticking out the top of her pants).
