Singer H.E.R. channelled her inner Aretha Franklin on the 2022 Grammys red carpet.

The star wore a yellow jumpsuit with gold sequence and orange cape sleeves, drawing inspiration from an outfit Aretha wore in 1976.

Speaking to E!, H.E.R. explained: "I was actually inspired by Aretha Franklin tonight. It was one of her iconic looks to me, and I just loved it so much, and she's an icon."

Aretha Franklin wore her yellow and orange sparkly ensemble at the American Music Awards in 1976, where she walked away with the trophy for Favourite Soul Female.

This is not the first time H.E.R. has paid tribute to Aretha. In 2019, the R&B star honoured the Queen of Soul at the Grammys with a cover of I Say A Little Prayer.
