The Cannes Film Festival is back after having to postpone its proceedings in 2020 due to the international health crisis that stunned the world a year ago. Sprinkled with models and film practitioners alike, the 74th annual festival kicked off this week with a red carpet ceremony that pulled no punches.
The red carpet opened with Bella Hadid's much-celebrated Jean Paul Gaultier monochrome gown, which continues to dominate headlines, and Spike Lee's bright pink Louis Vuitton suit as he made his first festival appearance as Jury President.
