What to wear to Fashion Week (or Friday night outfit inspo, if you're not attending)

Fashion Week, whether held in Cape Town, Jozi or Paris always fascinates me. The shows, the eclectic mix of people, the buzz in the air; but I love the street style in particular.

It shows what trends people are wearing now, what's to come and how everyone mixes it together. Putting an outfit together to some, is an art. And it's a treat to get to appreciate it even on a small scale.

Here are just a few items, palettes and outfits I am pining after. Because I wouldn't recommend wearing all of them at once, I am going to advise you (and myself) to always mix a few on trend pieces with classics. This way your look will always be unique, plus your clothes will adapt as the seasons and 'It' items change.

Or pair them with a beret...
