To say Rihanna is not the queen of inclusivity is begging the navy to come for you. She's gone from launching the first-ever 40-shades foundation line with Fenty Beauty, launching a skin-care line for both women and men with Fenty Skin to launching a lingerie line for all shapes and sizes that always has inclusive shows, with Savage x Fenty.
Without a doubt, her message about celebrating all kinds of people has been received and, now making history as the brand’s first little person ambassador, introducing Tamera McLaughlin.

The 23-year-old social media influencer from Washington, DC, gained her influencer title after posting dancing videos and comedic sketches.
Tamera began her journey to breaking boundaries by having a conversation with her manager about one day becoming an ambassador for the billion-dollar brand.
Her manager then told her to keep the consistency with her social media presence while figuring out a plan to make her dream a reality. The plan was to order a lingerie set from Savage X Fenty, have an exclusive photoshoot, and hopefully gain the attention of the brand with enough luck.
“The week my ordered lingerie shipped, I got an email, and it mentioned that they had somehow seen one of my viral videos, and Fenty was interested in bringing me aboard as an ambassador! I cried immediately. Just that fast, it happened,” she told Buzzfeed News.
Tamera understands that being the first little-person to be an ambassador for such a big brand breaks boundaries and brings about awareness. “My role as the first little person ambassador for the brand represents the idea of bringing awareness to self-love, loving the skin you’re in and being courageous enough to go after the things your heart desires,” Tamera adds.

The influencer insists that although she may be the first, she will most definitely not be the last to be the face of a big brand.
“My role represents the notion of leaving doubt and fear that you might not make the cut out of the equation and just walking into your destiny. You typically do not see little people modelling for major companies. This has been an incredible feeling, and while I may be the first little person to become a brand ambassador, I have a positive feeling that I will not be the last!”
Savage X Fenty dropped a 60’s inspired floral spring collection on Monday, taking lingerie wear yet again to another level.
