Braving the rain and the Covid-19 restrictions in Paris, several hundreds of women of different shapes and sizes held a fashion show at the foot of the Eiffel Tower to demand more diversity in fashion, and to encourage body positivity.
Paris Fashion Week is back on, but for these women, selling clothes is not on the agenda. The goal of this fashion show is for everyone to feel represented, and for everyone to accept themselves as they are.

“It is a movement of kindness towards oneself and others whatever the age, whatever the body type, whatever the disability, whatever the illness,” says Body Positive Fashion show organiser Georgia Stein.
“For me, this is a great opportunity to convey the message that all women are beautiful – all shapes, all sizes, all ethnicities,” one of the participants, Amelie Dore, expresses.
“And it also gave me the opportunity to boost my own self-confidence and to feel better about myself – more beautiful, more liberated, and I loved it!” she adds.
