#10YearChallenge: Formula 1 drivers edition

10 years ago the Formula 1 paddock was very different. The sport's boss Bernie Ecclestone was beginning to tighten his grip on the lucrative racing series and Ross Brawn's team were competing in their maiden season.

Briton Jenson Button went on to win his first world title and Sebastian Vettel, driving for Red Bull, was runner-up 11 points behind.

Five-time champion Lewis Hamilton fresh from winning his maiden title in 2008 was driving for McLaren, BMW was still participating (with Robert Kubica behind the wheel) in the sport and Fernando Alonso was in the turqoise Renault race suit.
