Lewis Hamilton revealed he is training to feature in an action film following a day at a shooting range.

The six-time World Champion may be dominating the world of Formula 1, but that hasn’t stopped him from finding other lines of work for now and when his career ends.

The British driver launched his own fashion line alongside Tommy Hilfiger, while he also has interests in music and environmental campaigning.

His next move though appears to be into the world of acting after Hamilton filmed himself shooting at a professional range.

He revealed that it’s the same range which actor Keanu Reeves uses to train for his John Wick movies.

In his Instagram post Hamilton wrote: “Excited to show you something I’ve started working on."

'Mans ready'

Hamilton's post continues: “I’ve always loved action movies and dreamed of one day being in one. This is where Keanu Reeves trains for his John Wick movies so I came here to start training for my first movie role. This is only day one, was a super fun few hours in a safe professional environment.

“Keanu, gimme a call, mans ready.”

Hamilton didn’t reveal whether he has any offers or not yet to star in his first film, but after training he is unlikely to be short on interest.

And in just over a month’s time Hamilton’s attention will switch back to F1 as testing ahead of the 2020 season gets underway.

Testing will begin at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 19.
