For instance, Mercedes spent €350 million to run the team for a year, but there was €380 million in revenue, which means a €30 million profit for the title-winning Formula 1 team.

The salaries of the team bosses were also revealed, with both Wolff and the late Niki Lauda paid about €8 million each.

"F1 makes an important contribution to the brand's status as the eighth-most valuable in the world," Mercedes reportedly said in the filing.
