• The latest Mercedes-Maybach S-Class will be unveiled Thursday(19 Nov) at 15:00.

• The new model's launch comes hot on the heels of the 'normal' S-Class.

• Several standout features include a massaging function in the calf rests.

The cameras haven't been packed away from the Mercede-Benz S-Class reveal and the carmaker is onto its next digital reveal. This time it's the Maybach S-Class, a car Mercedes says "combines the perfection and high-tech solutions of Mercedes Benz’ top luxury saloons with the exclusivity and century-long tradition of Maybach."

The rear passengers benefit from the new model's 18 centimetres longer wheelbase over the S-Class and it is fitted with standard executive seats and chauffeur package.

Exclusive details such as the optional two-tone paintwork with dividing line, and large wooden trim both on the backs of the front seats and between the two rear passengers are also typical Maybach features.

When it comes to luxury features for passengers, the new Mayback is in a different league. For rear passengers, the carmaker offers a massage function in the calf rests of the executive seats, as well as heating for the neck and shoulders.
