Citroen's reemergence to the local market in 2019 brought with it models like the C3 and C5.

The brand has released a refreshed version of their compact C3 crossover to the local market that features many new additions and safety features. The refreshed C3 Feel is already on sale locally, while the Shine model will be available from May 2021.

Funky and fresh

The C3 Feel employs a 1.2-litre PureTech engine that produces 60kW and uses a five-speed manual transmission. The higher-spec Shine version makes 81kW and makes use of a six-speed automatic transmission.

Noise-cancelling upgrades and advanced comfort seats are welcome additions, while intuitive Driver Attention Warning and Coffee Break Alert systems aid the driver if fatigue kicks in. Further safety features include ABS, EBA, EBD, TCS, ESP, Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation and Cruise Control. A total of 6 airbags come standard across the range.

The Shine model also comes with 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic wipers, rear parking sensors and bi-tone body colour options, in addition to a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto/Apple Carplay and automatic-dimming rear-view mirrors. Both C3 options also feature new scratch-proof Air bump designs with silver effect inserts.

Models across the entire Citroën range come standard with a 5-year/100 000km warranty and 3-year/60 000km service plan.
