SEE | These three German rivals could take on the Ford Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost Convertible

Earlier this week we reviewed the Ford Mustang EcoBoost Convertible. The model in question is part of a four-model range – five if you include the Bullitt.

Coming in at R856 200, the EcoBoost Convertible is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-litre petrol engine. Producing 213kW and 441Nm, the Mustang has enough in the bag to show you a good time.

In our review we noted: “(The Mustang stirs) the senses in all the right ways, and one can sense that it remains true to the essence of being a muscle car. In short, the new Mustang is not the most agile of sports cars on the market, but it is one that will reward your weekend drive.”

REVIEW: Ford Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost Convertible

In essence, the Mustang does not have any direct rivals in our market, but from European descent it has to man up against Germany’s finest. Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz have rivals to the Mustang, but these all have turbocharged 2.0-litre engines as opposed to the Mustang’s 2.3-litre.

Regardless. Let’s see how the Mustang stacks up against seine Deutschen Rivalen (its German rivals).
