Wheels24's Sean Parker spotted the new Toyota Yaris hybrid model in Cape Town, seemingly being filmed a for a European advert earlier in December.
Toyota showed off a high-performance version of its Yaris GR, in camouflage, and will take the official covers off it in January at the Tokyo Auto Salon from January 10-12, 2020.
The South African-arm of the company currently doesn't sell a hybrid model of its Yaris which was launched in February 2018, Toyota SA had not responded at the time of this article being published.
The current Yaris range includes: 1.5 Cross , 1.5 Sport, 1.5 Xi MT, 1.5 Xs and 1.5 Xs CVT.
