If you live in Cape Town or the greater Western Cape region, chances are that your radio is probably tuned in to KFM. And if you should find yourself on the channel between 15:00 and 19:00 on a weekday, Carl Wastie will drive you home from work.

Wastie is no stranger to the media world. Having gone through the ranks and entertaining through various mediums, he now finds himself at KFM where, for the past three years, he has been hosting the Flash Drive.

The show's host is known for his witty replies to listener comments, quick-thinking answers to problems, and the exciting and fun games they host.

Today, 3 July 2020, marks their three-year anniversary on KFM and Wheels24 will be chatting to Wastie about his journey at the station, as well as the car he’s been driving: an MK1 Volkswagen Citi Golf.

Oh yes, Wastie is the proud owner of a Golf! We'll find out how long he's had it, his most memorable memory of the car, and what is next for his beloved Golf. And, of course, if the car has a name.

Tune in today at 13:30 when we get to know more about Wastie and his Golf.
