Reader wheels: BMW E30, my dream-come-true car

Every so often, readers send us some beautiful photos of their cars, or just their little story of their most prized-possessions.

It always warms my heart to hear the passion and love stories a car can bring to anyone. It's also so admirable to witness the love and care that goes into a vehicle, and in turn it can inspire others to reach for their dreams.

Wheels24 reader Andrew Abraham is our pick this week with his BMW E30 318i Mex.

Abraham writes: "As I grew up, I've always wondered what it would be like to own a car that would make the adrenaline and rush through my veins. I was the average car-crazy young boy and wasn't quite sure what it would take.

"That day came true when I bought my first BMW E30. It started the moment I looked at it; every desire and a dream come true, it was the total package all in one.

"I've had the privilege to own five of them so far during my years, and I have loved and cherished each one.

"As I got older, they've become very scarce to find - even more so in a good condition. I've made it my duty to stay true to the E30 family.

"My current beauty is a long-awaited achievement, and to own her brings such unexplainable joy.

"I am looking forward to restoring her and placing her on a showroom floor that will allow others to admire the work of art and joy that comes with owning a BMW E30.
